3. OUTLINE
Protection against overload, overheating has been enhanced, in iPS-B series.
In accordance with above, the data for iPS (POWER SUPPLY) selection in case of FANUC SERVO AMPLIFIER i-B series is
added. Please refer to the technical report A-65412EN/01-12 for detail.
4. CAUTION
 Data for iPS (POWER SUPPLY) selection on this technical report is applied only in case of FANUC SERVO
AMPLIFIER i-B series. When FANUC SERVO AMPLIFIER i series is used, please refer to “Appendix C. DATA FOR
POWER SUPPLY iPS SELECTION” on FANUC SYNCHRONOUS BUILT-IN SERVO MOTOR DiS series
DESCRIPTIONS (B-65332JA/03).
 When FANUC SERVO AMPLIFIER βi series is used, driving conditions and functions that can be used with SERVO
AMPLIFIER i series may be restricted. Please be sure to contact FANUC before using FANUC SERVO AMPLIFIER βi
series.
5. Data for iPS (POWER SUPPLY) selection in case of FANUC SERVO AMPLIFIER i-B series.
Data for iPS (POWER SUPPLY) selection is prepared by applicable condition and cooling method of FANUC SYNCHRONOUS
BUILT-IN SERVO MOTOR DiS series.
Condition 1: Axis of tilt and rotation for machining center, Axis of work rotation for hobbing machine and grinding machine.
Condition 2: Otherwise Applicable condition 1 (Asis of lathe for combined machining machine, Axis of press for press machine, Axis
of oscillation for cam grinding mashine, etc.)
NOTE
Please be sure to contact FANUC, if it is hard to select the applicable condition.
