West Valley City to hold General Election Meet the Candidates Night
WHAT:
General Election Meet the Candidates Night
WHEN:
Wednesday, October 12, 2011, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for residents to mingle with candidates
WHERE:
Utah Cultural Celebration Center, 1355 West 3100 South
WHO:
Everyone is invited to attend.
WHY:
West Valley City will hold a General Election Meet the Candidates Night for residents to
learn more about the candidates that are running for office. West Valley City has three
council seats up for election including an At-Large councilmember and the District 1 and
District 3 councilmembers. Candidates will be asked questions that have been submitted
either online prior to the meeting or from residents attending the event that night.
Candidates will have two minutes to answer their randomly selected questions.
Questions for the candidates may be submitted online at www.wvc-ut.gov/elections.
West Valley City will hold a General Election on Tuesday, November 8, 2011. Early voting
for the General Election will be available at West Valley City Hall (3600 S. Constitution
Blvd.), Tuesday, October 25, through Friday, October 28, and Monday, October 31, through
Friday, November 4.
