For smaller groups; the sunset deck provides a stunning cocktail venue and the back courtyard is an intimate dinner location. An exceptional venue for weddings, retreats, family gatherings, Arnalaya provides the perfect canvas for the design of a unique event and the creation of lasting memories. These guidelines are intended to give Event Organizers and their clients guidance specific to Arnalaya Beach House and should be read in conjunction with Elite Havens General Guidelines for Event Management. Villa Guidelines Weather The weather factor to consider with Arnalaya is the wet season from November until March; Event Organizers are advised to consider these conditions and plan accordingly for events. Kitchen and bar The villa’s kitchen is not to be used for the event. Caterers should set up a satellite kitchen by the pool bale area, in the lower garden and must use a partition to screen off the area. There is one existing bar located in the pool bale that is available for events; for larger events, free standing bars can be set up around the lawns. We kindly ask catering companies to protect the surface with mats to minimize the grass damage. The main villa and grounds The main living and dining room can be used for welcome drinks but should not be used as main event spaces. The furniture of these two sections should not be moved or removed and no additional infrastructure should be brought into these areas. Bedrooms are for the use of resident guests only and we recommend these to be locked during the course of any given event. Smoking is not permitted inside the house. Marquees must be free standing. Pool floating stage is not permitted. Floating bamboo and foam structures for candles and flowers are permitted however they should be removed by the EO by 1 am or as soon as guests enter pool in order to avoid any damage in the pool. Fireworks, balloons release and /or Thai wishing lanterns are strictly forbidden. Guest toilets There are 3 bathrooms available for event guests. One is located in the dining room, another one is below the pool bale and if necessary a third one can be opened in the gym EOs are responsible for the cleanliness of the bathrooms during the event. Parking The parking area is to be kept free for guests’ arrival and departure. This means that there is no parking on site for EOs or suppliers. Vehicles are permitted for a one hour period for loading but should be off site at least one hour prior to the event. I confirm that I have read, understand and will abide by these guidelines.
