Why play games?
Some people assume that playing games is trivial and irrelevant, used to break up the boredom,
waste some energy or fill in some time. Whilst there may be an element of truth to this, I hope you
also come to see that playing games is usually an important part of any youth session. When playing
games young people are more likely to engage and when young people are engaged they are more
likely to learn and retain more information.
