You are about to create your own animated story by a special program called
- Photo Story.
Read the following instructions and start to create your ideas:
1. Download your pictures from the camera to the computer.
2. Save it on your personal file.

Read the following instructions and learn how to upload your
pictures to "Photo Story":
*Don't forget to click "save
project" at the beginning of
your work. Save it on your personal file!
1. Open "Photo Story".
2. Select: "Begin a new story".
3. Click on: "Import Pictures"
4. Choose your pictures from your personal file.
A - You can choose specific pictures by: clicking the picture with Ctrl.
B – You can choose all of your pictures by: ctrl+A
5. You can arrange your photos now according to the story's sequence. Drag
and drop the picture to its desirable position.
6. You can rotate the picture to the position you want, fix red eyes or edit
them.
Editing your pictures:
Click "Edit" - You will get 3 windows on top of the screen:

Rotate and Crop – Here you can change the picture's position or crop it.
Cropping: Tick the "crop".
*If you crop the pictures, you can remove the black borders.
B – Auto Fix – This is the place for color correction.
C – Add effect – This is the place to change the way the picture appears.
Choose the effect you want.
You can apply the effect to all of your pictures or you can choose a different
effect to every picture.
7. Save your work.

Open "Photo Story".
Choose: Edit a project.
Choose your project from your personal file.
If you want to add pictures or edit pictures you can do it now. If not,
continue to the following step:
5. Add your story to each of the pictures. Select: choose your desirable
font, its color and size.
6. Place your story: top, bottom, etc.
7. You can continue to the next picture by clicking the arrow:
8. Don't forget to save your work after each picture! And at the end
save it again.

Open "Photo Story".
Choose: Edit a project.
Choose your project from your personal file.
Choose: Narrate your pictures and customize motion.

5. Stand on the first picture and record yourself narrating the picture by
clicking the record button. Pay attention to the exact time you speak
and write it down (later on you will use it).
6. If you want to listen to yourself, click the preview button.
7. After you finish narrating the picture click on: Customize Motion:
8. Here you will define the way your video clip will look like.
9. Choose: Specify start and end position of motion.
Select
the areas of a picture where you want the focus to begin and end. The
areas that you select in a picture will appear at the beginning and end
of the picture's video clip.
10. Tick: Duration box in order to define the exact seconds your picture
will appear. (Define it according to your notes from instruction number
5 in this assignment).
11. Don't forget to save your work!
12. Choose: Transition:
13. Select transition duration and the number of seconds it will display.
Click: close to go back.
14. Continue to the next picture and follow the above instructions to all of
the pictures.
15. Save your project.

6. Here you will define the way your video clip will look like.
7. Choose: Specify start and end position of motion.
Select

areas that you select in a picture will appear at the beginning and end
of the picture's video clip.
8. Tick: Duration box in order to define the exact seconds your picture

9. Narrate your video clip: Click the red button and record yourself
narrating the story.
10. Don't forget to save your work!

Choose: Add background music .
5. You can record your own music or add music from your personal file.
You can choose the starting / ending point for the music.

7. You may preview your clip. If it's completed….

9. Save your final project according to the instructions.
10. You are now ready to present your video clip to your friends.

1. The story has a title.
2. The title relates to the story.
3. The name of writers appears.
4. The main characters are clear.
5. The time is clear.
6. The setting is clear.
7. The story is interesting.
8. The pictures relates to the story.
9. The speaker is clear. His voice matches to the nature of
the story.
10.
The story is well written – grammar, spelling,
punctuation.
11.
The pictures are clear.
12.
The titles are clear.
13.
The effects used in the pictures, match the story.
14.
There is use of music, sound and they match the
story.
