An application has multiple parts, which are explained in the Application Guide for ESS Accreditation (Application Guide).1 As a minimum, you will have to provide: Application Form: Part A - General Details, available on the ESS website, and Application Form: Part B - Method Details, this form. This form captures the method details for the Project Impact Assessment with Measurement and Verification Method (the method). The form can be completed by applicants using the information provided in the Method Guide Project Impact Assessment with Measurement and Verification (Method Guide).2 Please complete this form, and provide it with any required supporting documentation as part of your application for accreditation. 1 2 The Application Guide and forms can be found on the ESS website at: http://www.ess.nsw.gov.au/How_to_apply_for_accreditation/Apply_now__guides_and_application_forms The Method Guide is available on the ESS website at: http://www.ess.nsw.gov.au/Methods_for_calculating_energy_savings/Project_Impact_Assess ment_with_MV Application Form: Part B - Method Details - PIAM&V V3.0 IPART 3 2 Method details Which application option are you using? Select One ☐ ☐ ☐ Option 1 Option 2 Option 3 Note: Refer section 6 of the Method Guide for more information on application options. Are you applying to amend an existing PIAM3 accreditation to enable use of the PIAM&V method? No ☐ Please skip the next question Yes ☐ Please go to the next question If you answered ‘Yes’ to the previous question, do you intend to continue using PIAM to calculate energy savings for past implementations? No – I would like to use PIAM&V to calculate any additional energy savings for past implementations ☐ Yes – I will continue to use PIAM to calculate any additional energy savings from past implementations but would like to use PIAM&V to calculate energy savings for future implementations [Click and type here] Comments: ☐ What model type do you propose to use to establish your baseline and operating energy models? Energy model type Select One Estimate of the mean ☐ Regression analysis ☐ Computer simulation ☐ Are you submitting evidence from a completed project in support of your application for accreditation? If yes, please insert a description of the project and list the documents you have provided. No ☐ Please go to the next question Yes* ☐ [Click and type here] *Note: As the project is implemented already, you will not be able to create ESCs for the implementation. 3 4 ‘PIAM’ - Project Impact Assessment Method IPART Application Form: Part B - Method Details - PIAM&V V3.0 Are you submitting evidence from a theoretical project in support of your application to enable you to become accredited to implement a project in the future? If you answer yes, please insert a description of the project and list the documents you have provided. No** ☐ Yes ☐ [Click and type here] **If accredited, you will need to submit evidence of an implementation as part of an application for amendment of your accreditation conditions in order to get Scheme Administrator approval to create ESCs. Refer section 6 of the Method Guide. Have you attached a measurement and verification plan? YES ☐ NO (to be provided in the future) ☐ 3 Forward or annual creation of ESCs Please indicate if you intend to forward create energy savings certificates. Select One I want to forward create energy savings certificates I want to annually create energy savings certificates ☐ ☐ If forward creating, please indicate if you intend to top-up the energy savings certificates at some time in the future. YES – I intend to top-up the energy savings certificates ☐ NO – I do not intend to top-up the energy savings certificates ☐ 4 Method eligibility 4.1 Implementation date (multi-site activities only) Please explain how you will determine the implementation date for future implementations.
