Webinar Specifics
• This webinar was scheduled based on the December WFP
Committee discussion regarding the use of the GIE Jobs
Registration website to register, track and hire graduating
students from the ASC-GIEC programs.
• Education representatives from the Committee were invited
as optional.
• Employers were encouraged to invite additional
representatives from recruiting and talent acquisition
departments.
• We can schedule a follow up in February IF this webinar
was scheduled to soon to alert others to attend.

What is GIE Jobs Registration?
• This tool is designed to help job seekers get connected to
companies offering exciting careers in the energy industry.
• Independent sections allow “Job Seekers” to enter their
information and “Employers” to view all those entries and
connect at will.
• It’s identical, now, to the Troops to Energy Jobs Registration
website.
• CEWD is recommending the GIE Jobs Registration website
as a way to bridge the Workforce Development gap; keeping
tabs on potential new-hire candidates post graduation.

colleges (as they register themselves)
• Resumes to review to target recruiting
• Email and phone numbers for connecting
• Leverage through advertising; attract Engineers from ASU, U
of A, and others
• App is proven through Troops to Energy Jobs…
• The value is in lowering recruiting costs (speed, lower search
costs, etc.)
