Today, we will focus on that last function and you will get to design your own eye‐catching food packaging! Keep the packaging positive, informational and healthful. Be creative and have fun! Here is what you need to do: 1. Choose a food from the Milk and Alternatives food group. 2. Bring a food package (emptied and cleaned) from home. Be creative! Choose any food packaging that you want, since it will be completely covered and changed once you design your new packaging of your food from the Milk and Alternatives food group on top of it. 3. Include at least 4 pieces of interesting information or facts about the chosen food. = + When you design your food packaging, ask yourself these questions: Who? Who are you making this food packaging for? Who will buy this food? Will it be adults, teenagers, children or anyone? What? What is the name of the food you have chosen? What type of images, pictures or text will get the attention of the buyers? What information will you include on your food packaging? What can you include on the packaging to encourage people to eat that food? Do you want to include a healthy recipe or tips on how to cook or eat it? What material will you use to create this packaging? When? Is the food usually consumed at a specific time of the day (i.e. breakfast, lunch, supper or snacks)? Where? Where will you place your images, pictures and text on the food packaging to make it appealing? Why? Why did you pick this food? Why do you think others will like this food?
