The IMaRC 2013 Final Paper Submission Process
Congratulations, your Summary Paper has been accepted and you have been asked to submit your final
Digest Paper. This overview of the process will guide you through the steps needed for a successful final
submission.
The deadline for final submissions is 10 Oct 2013 11:59 PM Hawaii time (11 Oct 2013 9:59
UTC/GMT , 11 Oct 2013, 15:29 Indian Standard Time) in PDF format ONLY.
Your final submission must use the IMaRC2013 MS Word template.

For other unsupported word processing systems, please follow the official IEEE-MTTS PDF manuscript
guidelines.
Please remove all page numbers from your manuscript. The PDF file must be IEEE Xplore compatible.
This can be verified from the site: http://www.pdf-express.org. Use conference id : 31198x. NOTE that
this site is only for checking your file, NOT for actual submission.
As usual, there is a four-page and 2-Megabyte file size limit on all submittals. You must follow the
IEEE two-column format specified in the template or your submission will be rejected.
Withdrawal of accepted papers after 10 Oct 2013 may result in the author being held liable for any
costs should the paper need to be redacted from the Conference Digest.
When you are ready with your final PDF manuscript, go to the submission web site and follow the
step-by-step procedures provided. You will need to know your registration key from your summary
paper submission (the key may also be found in your acceptance e-mail).
Step 1. Access the paper submission site through the IMaRC 2013 Author Homepage
(imarc-ieee.org/authors) or by directly going to the IMaRC 2013 Paper Submission Site link
(http://www.mtt-tpms2.org/symposia_v6/IMARC2013/start.html).
Step 2: Start you submission by selecting what task you wish to perform.
(NOTE: site should open for final submissions starting 23 September 2013)
You should now be at the “Start” screen. The registration key used in the steps below is the same one as
for the earlier summary submission (also sent in the acceptance email).
a. New Submission - If you are performing an IMaRC 2013 final manuscript submission for the first time,
select “Begin a new Final manuscript Submission” from the dropdown list and then press the Continue
button. This is the option you will use when you submit your final manuscript for the first time.
b. Updating a Previous Submission - An author who has already successfully submitted a paper and has a
valid Registration key, but wishes to update a previous submission should select “Update a Previous Final
manuscript Submission” from the dropdown list and then press the Continue button. Note that the
earlier summary submission does not count as a previous submission for final manuscript
submission.
c. Withdrawing a Previous Submission - An author who has already submitted a paper and has a valid
Registration key, but now wishes to withdraw the submission should select “Withdraw a Previous Final
manuscript Submission” from the dropdown list and then press the Continue button. Withdrawal of
accepted papers after 10 Oct 2013 may result in the author being held liable for any costs should the
paper need to be redacted from the Conference Digest.
Copyright transfer is required at this stage of the submission process. Copyright assignment can only be
carried out electronically. During the submission of your final manuscript, you will be taken
automatically to the IEEE electronic copyright form web site. Your final manuscript submission will not
be complete and your paper cannot be published without the electronic copyright submission. The
copyright process must be completed by the 10 Oct 2013 deadline.
Failure to submit a completed paper by the 10 Oct deadline may result in your presentation being
withdrawn from the symposium.
Acceptance of your paper is conditional upon your refraining from publishing essentially the same
content prior to your presentation, including prepublication in trade journals and other periodicals.
