Sanctions applied for New York and Connecticut May 27, 2014 Girls + Boys 18th Annual Tiger Team Pentathlon Entry Procedure Each team is allowed to enter teams* made up of 5 individuals. Each of these athletes may compete in one event only. We will contest the 5 events of the pentathlon (HH, LJ, HJ, SP, 800 - girls / 1500m - boys). Using the I.A.A.F. scoring tables, each performance will be assigned its appropriate point total. After completion of the 5 events a total will be calculated to determine the team with the most points. It’s your 5 against everyone else’s 5! A team may have no fewer than 4 members present to be allowed to participate. TEAM MEMBERS MUST BE DESIGNATED PRIOR TO THE MEET’S START). Entry Procedure: The entry fee for one team is $80. Each additional team costs $65. ENTRY DEADLINE IS MAY 20, 2014. On the enclosed sheet please place the names of the athletes and their seeds (PLEASE SEED 1500 METERS AS A 1600 METER TIME). If necessary, you may change the names from those entered originally on the day of the meet (including switching from an A team to a B team).. The Hurdles and the 800/1500 will be contested on an open basis – seeded sections to be run last. All High Jumpers will compete together. Normal high jump rules will determine the order of finish. The Shot Put and Long Jump will be contested in class flights. YOU WILL ONLY NEED SEED CARDS FOR THE HURDLES AND THE 800/1500.
