WILLOW TREE CENTRE FUNDRAISING DISCO Friday 23rd October 2015
Please bring your Unit to the Brownie Disco of the Year!
It is to be held at Willow Tree Centre, Breakspear Road North, Harefield UB9 6LZ on
Friday 23rd October 2015, 6.30 – 8.00 pm, and is open to any Brownie Units in the
County. Tickets cost £3 per child.
This is a no uniform event, let the children get dressed up and celebrate Half Term!
Leaders should apply for tickets, sell to the girls beforehand, bring the money on
the night and hand it in to the organisers. There will be refreshments for sale,
raffle tickets, the special badge above for £1 each so the children will need some
pocket money on the night.

Limited tickets available, some units were disappointed last year as they didn’t
apply early enough. Ideally, at least one leader should attend with their girls, but
this can be an adult known to the brownies eg unit helper, if appropriate.

 DISCO TIME is 6.30 – 8.00 pm.
 TICKETS are £3 each, please bring your ticket money with you on the night,
either correct cash in envelope with Unit name or cheque to Willow Tree
Centre. There is no charge for Leaders!
 DROP OFF AND COLLECT - Please ask parents to car share if possible. I suggest
you confirm the time you want your group to arrive at Willow Tree and be
collected with your own parents. Willow Tree postcode for Sat-Nav people is
UB9 6LZ.
 We will probably have a couple of gazebos up outside in case of bad weather,
for parents to wait under to collect Brownies.
 NO UNIFORM - the children can get as dressed up as they like!
 MONEY - Brownies to bring some money in named purse, or small bag, for
refreshments & raffle tickets – drinks, crisps & small packets of sweets will be
available, and we shall also have the special badge above for sale – these will
be £1 each.
 CONTACT LIST is required for all the children in your Unit coming. The
Brownies should be ticked off when they arrive and the list left by the main
entrance door in case of fire.
 TICKETS - Brownies should bring their ticket with them. These will be collected
on the door and will be their tickets for a free raffle. There will also be raffle
tickets on sale if they wish to buy more.
 LEADERS / ADULTS / YOUNG LEADERS will be expected to supervise the
Brownies, help with drinks, tickets, toilet duty, etc and clearing up at the end
please!
