Early theories of motivation
Hierarchy of need theory: it is probably the most well-known
theory of motivation, there exists a hierarchy of five needs:
Theory X and theory Y:
It shows basically two distant views of human beings one totally
negative which is theory X and the other positive which is theory Y.
the key tenets of expectancy theory to
motivating employees:
Expectancy theory: one of the widely accepted
explanations of motivation although it has its critics,
most of the evidence support the theory
