Home Schooled/Non-Accredited High School Admission Requirements
The following are the requirements for students attending Columbus State University who are home-schooled or attended a non-accredited
high school.
Applicants must submit the following documents:
•
Application for Admission along with $40 Non-refundable application fee
•
Combined Official SAT Critical Reading and Math score of 1000 or ACT English and Math composite score of 21.*
The minimum subsection scores must be:
•
Certificate of Immunization
SAT Critical Reading 440 and SAT Math 410 or
ACT English 17 and ACT Math 17
•
Official transcripts from public/private high school and colleges attended
•
Letter from primary teacher certifying completion of high school curriculum and the date of graduation.
•
Home school college preparatory credit annotated on the Home School Credit Evaluation Table**
Explanation of Requirements
*The University System of Georgia Board of Regents bases the SAT/ACT scores required on the SAT 1 Composite
(Critical Reading plus Math) score at or above the average SAT 1 score of the previous year’s fall semester full-time freshmen admitted
to the University System institution to which the student is applying for. Also, the student must provide evidence of College Preparatory
Curriculum completion to be considered for admission.
** Only home schooled students are required to submit the Home School College Preparatory Credit Evaluation Form.
