INTRODUCTION
Nowadays , most teenagers will have tried cannabis, hachis… and different types of joints. os
and during the years it´s easier to get any drug.. There are many reasons adolescents use these
substances, including the desire for new experiences, an attempt to deal with problems or
perform better in school, and simple peer pressure but the most common reason is that
teenagers only want to have a good time, but they don´t know how many effects and
problems make the drugs in our lives.
When we started this project we think that the only problem with joint was the money and the
addiction, but during the project we discovered a lot of things. We asked some people to
know how many they know about this types of drugs and many of them only know where get
the drug and nothing else,we kept all the information and we have done a diagram.
It is normal to teenagers want to discover new experiences and they want to try new things,
because there are in the middle of a huge change not only of their bodies also in their minds.
They are experimenting the grow. They think that they are immortals but that isn't true.
With our project ,we want to help teenagers and we want to expActually is very easy to get a
little bit of drug with only five eurlain all the problems which produce the drugs in their
minds and in their bodies, we want to reduce the %65.5 of teenagers who consume joints like
marijuana.
HYPOTESIS
If we did this investigation, people would stop smoking and we would make aware some
teenagers to know the effects who makes joints.
We cannot prove our hypothesis because we know that stop smoking is so difficult but we
think that it is possible.
The ´zientzia azoka´ is a science exhibition in our city, people put their stand and exhibit their
own science project. There is a stand which is about drugs and its effects we are going to go
to take notes, with those notes we are going to do a new explanation and we are going to do a
new project to make aware teenagers, if we do that people could visit our new stand and
could know more about joints and the problems that it makes.
PLANNING
In this project is going to be an experiment and that experiment is going to be based in the
effect placebo. There are researches of this effect in the internet and there are many proofs
that confirm that it works.
The project is going to work in the area of chemistry and social.
Firstly, the project will involve to prove with some people this effect. If the investigation
works, the next step would be to make a survey to prove the hypothesis.
The sources that we are going to use are, researches in the internet and real testimonies of
people that have experienced the joints in person and people who have never take joints.
The materials which the project will need are, not real smoke drugs, paper to joints, some
lighters and cigarette filters. And to do the survey paper and ink.
If the project successes it would help people to have a healthier life and to help people to get
over the joints.
The project will count with surveys, graphics and photos in a website create by us.
Experimment
This project is going to consist in an effect called `placebo´. A placebo is anything that
seems to be a "real" medical treatment -- but isn't. It could be a pill, a shot, or some other type
of "fake" treatment. What all placebos have in common is that they do not contain an active
substance meant to affect health.
In this investigation the objective is know if people with this effect have the same effect with
not real joints (without knowing) and with real joints.
With this investigation we want to know the reaction of people who never had tried joints and
with people who has smoke joints.
The project is inspired in a project who have done Japanese scientifics with an allergic plant.

The materials which are going to use in this projects are… not real smoke drugs, paper to
joint, some lighters and cigarette filters.
The result of the project could be that most of the people took the same effects with not real
joints that is the consequence of the placebo effect.
MATERIALS:
-oregano inestead of weed to try the effect
-paper to joint
-tobacco
-ligther
-3 person that they didn’t know the project
METHODS:
Fristly, two “joints” are going to be put in a table (oregano joints) and people are going to
think that one is going to be of marihuana and the other of oregano, but two of them are going
to be made by oregano. When he/she smoke two joints (oregano smeels like marihuana) is
going to think that he/she has smoked a joint and they are going to be drogged.
What is going to happen?...
RESULTS:
-The first girl (she has never taste joints before) smoking this two false joints has taken some
similar effects smoking that inestead real joints.
-The second boy (he has smoke sometimes before) smoking this two false joints he hasn’t
take any similar effect.
-The third boy (he usually smokes) smoking this false joints he hasn´t take any similar effect.
