The State withholding tax information for year 2013 was supplied from the
below states. In order to install the new taxes you would need to download
the TAX.DLL here and replace this file with your existing files on each
workstation (do not replace it only on payroll workstations):
•
Ohio
Warning: this can only be performed on FA100 workstations that
are currently on version 2013.4
1. Log out from all of the applications
2. Click here to download and save the file
3. On each workstation go to:
For 64 bit machines: C:\Program Files (x86)\MIP\Progs
For 32 bit machines: C:\Program Files\MIP\Progs
4. Replace the existing Npstax.dll file with the new file
5. Choose Copy and Replace on the message as shown
below;
6. To confirm the changes, the date modified in that folder
will change to the day you made the changes.
7. Repeat those steps for all other Fund Accounting 100
workstations.
Note: If your state becomes a subject to credit reductions to FUTA liability, we have
included an example below on how to set that up in Payroll:
Go to Payroll>Maintain>State Taxes>Tax tab and click the Override Default Credit Rate
check box. The FUTA Credit Rate field can then be updated to reflect the amount of
reduction required.

Example: If I was an Arizona organization and my reduction rate was .003%, I
would subtract .003% from 5.4% (this is the default or full allowable credit) and
enter 5.1% in the FUTA Credit Rate field.
