TAGRAVITTM A2 TAGRAVIT™ A2 Tagravit™ A2 microcapsules, enable optimal isolation and protection of Retinyl palmitate, with unique Release on Demand™ (RND™) technology that ensures efficient delivery. Retinyl palmitate is one of the most important vitamins for the appearance of the skin. Retinyl palmitate is an exfoliator which increase shedding rate of the upper dermal layer forces the skin to produce new cells. It also provides effective antioxidant support and regeneration and has been shown in UVB exposure studies to offer sun protection all by itself. Its regular application significantly improves the skin elasticity, smoothness, softness, resulting in younger, clearer and healthier looking skin. Retinyl palmitate is highly sensitive and unstable active ingredient.. Therefore, it is essential to increase the its stability and overcome formulations barriers (e.g. handling, packaging and storage). Technology In order to ensure retinyl palmitate stability, Tagra Biotechnologies Ltd. has developed Tagravit™ A2 (Fig.1), a unique microcapsules made by the patented RND™ technology to enhance retinyl palmitate stability. TAGRAVIT™ A2 enhance retinyl palmitate stability Tagravit™ A2 microcapsule shell is made of a single layer polymer, enabling optimal isolation of the retinyl palmitate and prevents interaction with other components. The retinyl palmitate is protected from light, temperature, pH, and oxidation. The retinyl palmitate is released from the microcapsules by rubbing the formulation into the skin. Until the moment of application, it remains fresh and potent, due to its high and improved stability. The Tagravit™ A2 significantly increase the retinyl palmitate stability (Fig.2).
