UMD Basketball Team Camp has established
a great tradition of providing the very best in
organization, facilities, officiating and team
bonding experiences for coaches, staff and
players of high school programs around the
upper Midwest. Duluth is nestled off the shores
of Lake Superior and offers exciting entertainment
and sight seeing opportunities for your team.
Exclusively located on the 11,200-student
campus of UMD, team camp provides great
facilities and location. With attendance between
35-45 teams per summer, you are assured to
play in competitive games on 7 indoor courts all
located within walking distance from each other.
The Midwest Referee Camp provides 3-person
officiating crews for the entire camp. UMD Team
Camp is about more than just playing games, it is
about developing your program and your team.
UMD Team Camp will help you prepare for the
season ahead.

Insurance and Medical Treatment
All campers must have medical insurance. You must
register online or complete the enrollment form on
the reverse side of this page in full including all medical and insurance information. By signing the Consent
for Participation and Medical Information form, you
acknowledge the inherent risk of injury by participation. An injury can range from minor injury to a major
injury. Such injuries could cause permanent disability
such as paralysis, permanent bone or joint injury, permanent scars, other chronic disabling conditions, and
even death. If your son or daughter experiences a
minor injury, first aid will be provided. For a major
injury, an ambulance will be summoned to transport
your son or daughter to a clcal hospital.

Camp Options
Option #1 - "All-Inclusive": $140 per camper
All-inclusive package - Option #1 handles all of the details and
allows your team to focus on basketball, team building, and having
fun! Housing for all of your players and staff in the UMD dorms. All
events are within walking distance the entire weekend. Five all you
care to eat and drink on campus meals, including dessert. Minimum
7 certified officiated games over a three-day period, including an
end of camp tournament. Reversible jersey provided to all players.
Team laundry provided after each evening session. The best team
building and training camp environment for your team!
Option #2 - "Play & Eat": $110 per camper
Are you a local team that can commute? Have housing options in
Duluth you can take advantage of? This is the package for you!
Everything option #1 has to offer but, you arrange your own team
housing. Please be aware, Duluth is a summer tourist destination
and hotel rates are expensive during the summer months.
Option #3 - "Games Only": $90 per camper
All of the advantages of option #1 without the team housing or
food. This is a great option for teams who can commute each day.
