NEW: suspension strut hole punch
with servo-electric drive
 The hydraulic cylinder is replaced by a power unit controlled
via a servo-electric motor
 The new e-cylinder is compatible with the current C-frame system with
hydraulic cylinder and easy to change
 Through the e-motor, the entire hydraulic supply including aggregate,
supply lines and control can be dispensed with
Advantages:
- cost savings
- no risk of oil leakage
- less plant components = less potential for failure / breakdown
- easier maintenance
- better control of the punching process, integrated process monitoring

Comparison of widths
Comparison of lengths
Conclusion:
- identical flanging
- double in height

Process monitoring as a “by-product“
of servo control
Basis:
 Required hardware:
Control card and control panel.
A software programme is used which
establishes a connection to the converter and
controls it. The power consumption of the
motor is monitored during the punching
process and it is saved every 1/10 mm.
Envelope:
 An envelope is defined in advance with the aid
of the sofware, determining the relevant
maximum and minimum process values for an
OK part.
 The actual current values are compared with
the predefined envelope parameters during the
punching process, and the punching process
is evaluated on this basis.
 Process feedback or process interruption as
soon as the signal is outside of the envelope,
e.g. in the event of tool breakage, heavy
wear on tools, incomplete punching of
componenent and wrong component.
Force
= Power input
