What you should consider when booking your ID check event 1. We would prefer to hold events between September 2017 and March 2017. 2. We’d like access to the room where we’ll be completing ID checks for an hour before the event to give us time to set up and access your internet network. This will also give us more time to resolve any technical problems. 3. A member of your IT staff should be available to meet us when we arrive. 4. We must be able to access your internet in the room where we complete ID checks. This could be using your WiFi or Local Area Connection (LAN). Your LAN should allow up to five people to connect. 5. The room must have tables and chairs for us to work on and complete the ID checks. It would be helpful if the tables were close to a power supply so we can power our laptops. 6. You should allow 30 minutes for each presentation. In each session, the presentation must take place before we do any ID checks. 7. Where possible, please book rooms for longer than the agreed timetable. This will give us extra time if any technical problems happen on the day. 8. If you have concerns about the size of the room for presentation, a large numbers of students waiting, or problems with internet accessibility you could consider: Using different rooms for the presentation and ID check. Splitting your students into two or more groups. We can do a separate presentation and ID check for each group. Generally, we wouldn’t split students in to smaller groups unless the cohort was over 240.
