First Aid:
Eye splashes:flusheyesfor10­15minuteswithcleanwater.
Consultadoctor.IF GRAMOXONE ISSWALLOWEDmakethe
person vomit. Immediately take person, and this container and
labeltohospitalforemergencymedicaltreatment.
Emergency Medical Treatment:
Give 1 l suspension of Fuller’s Earth (15 %) or Bentonite (7 %)
or activated charcoal. Also give purgative e.g. Mannitol (20 %
solution). See booklet “Paraquat poisoning. A practical Guide
to diagnosis, first aid and Hospital treatment.” (available from
GRAMOXONE distributors) or contact Bateleur 911 at +27 (0)

3. RESISTANCE MANAGEMENT
For resistance management, GRAMOXONE is a group code D
herbicide.Anyweedpopulationmaycontainindividualsnaturally
resistanttoGRAMOXONEandothergroupcodeD(herbicides.
The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the weed
populationiftheseherbicidesareusedrepeatedlyandexclusively
in programs. These resistant weeds may not be controlled by
GRAMOXONEoranyothergroupcodeDherbicide.
2. PRECAUTIONS:
Todelayherbicideresistance:
• Donoteat,drinkorsmokewhilehandlingthisproduct.
• Avoidcontaminationoffood,feed,drinkingwaterandeating
utensils.
• Do not use application equipment or spray pressures which
result in the formation of a fine spray mist e.g. mistblowers,
ULVapplicatorsandothersimilarequipment.
• Donotusemuddywater.
• With knapsack and hand­held sprayers, mix each 1 part of
GRAMOXONE withatleast40partsofwater.
• Wear rubber gloves and face shield when handling the concentrate.Ifyougetitinyoureyes,flushitoutatonce.Ifyou
get it on your skin, wash it off at once. If you spill it on your
clothes,changeandwashthem.(See first aid).
• Inverttheemptycontaineroverthesprayormixingtankand
allowtodrainforatleast30secondsaftertheflowhasslowed
downtoadrip.Thereafterrinsethecontainerthreetimeswith
avolumeofwaterequaltoaminimumof10%ofthatofthe
container.Addtherinsingstothecontentsofthespraytank
beforedestroyingthecontainer.
• Wear rubber gloves and face shield while spraying. Do not

void exclusive repeated use of herbicides from the same
herbicidegroupcode.Alternateortankmixwithproductsfrom
differentherbicidegroupcodes.
• Integrateothercontrolmethods(chemical,cultural,biological)

4. DIRECTIONS FOR USEUseonlyasindicated.
4.1Compatibility:
GRAMOXONE is compatible with AGRAL 90 (L2967),
COMPLEMENTSUPER(L8169),DUALGOLD(L5749),FALCON
GOLD (L5750), GARDOMIL GOLD (L6246), GESAPRIM SUPER
(L3914), LUMAX (L7483), MEDAL GOLD (L6396), METAGAN

(L6247)andTERBUZIN600SC(L4683).

IfGRAMOXONEneedstobeusedintankmixcombinationswith
otherherbicides,firstmixsmallquantitiesofthechemicalsinthe
sameratioinwhichtheywillbeused,separatelywithwater.Add
these mixtures together while agitating and check for any signs
ofincompatibilitye.g.flocculation,etc.Inthisinstance,fullcognisancemustbetakenofallwarnings,precautionsanddirections
forusementionedonthelabelsoftheproductsconcerned.
Continuousagitationisessentialwhenapplyingtankmixtures.
4.2Mixinginstructions:
Apply by ground sprayers or by knapsack sprayer. USE HIGH
VOLUME AND HIGH DOSAGE RATE FOR SPRAYING DENSE
WEED GROWTH. Ensure thorough coverage of the weeds. Do
notspraybudsorgreenpartsofanycrop.GRAMOXONEkills
greentissuebutdoesnotharmbrownmaturebark.
Mix the required quantity of GRAMOXONE with clean water in
the spray tank. When GRAMOXONE is used in a tank mixture
withanotherherbicide(s)followthemixinginstructionsonthatlabel.

• Berg weg van voedsel, voer, kunsmis en saad.
• Hou diere uit die behandelde gebied totdat die spuitstof droog
is.
• In geval van vergiftiging kontak ‘n geneesheer en toon
hierdie etiket aan hom.
• Herbetreding: Moet nie behandelde gebiede binne 1 dag na
toediening betree nie tensy beskermde oorklere gedra word.
Alhoewel hierdie middel omvattend onder ‘n groot verskeidenheid toestande getoets is, waarborg die registrasiehouer
nie dat dit onder alle toestande doeltreffend sal wees nie
aangesien die werking en effek daarvan beïnvloed kan word
deur faktore soos abnormale grond-, klimaats- en bergingstoestande; kwaliteit van verdunningswater, verenigbaarheid met ander stowwe wat nie op die etiket aangedui is nie en
die voorkoms van weerstand van die onkruid teen die betrokke
middel, sowel as die metode, tyd en akkuraatheid van toediening. Verder aanvaar die registrasiehouer nie verantwoordelikheid vir skade aan gewasse, plantegroei, die omgewing, of vir
nadelige effek op mens of dier of vir ‘n gebrek aan prestasie
van die betrokke middel as gevolg van die versuim van die
gebruiker om etiketaanwysings na te kom of as gevolg van
die ontstaan van toestande wat nie kragtens die registrasie
voorsien kon word nie. Raadpleeg die verskaffer in die geval
van enige onsekerheid.
2. VOORSORGMAATREËLS:
• Moet nie eet, drink of rook terwyl die produk hanteer word nie.
• Vermy besoedeling van voedsel, voer, drinkwater en eetgerei.
• Moet nie toedieningsapparaat of spuitdrukke gebruik wat die
vorming van fyn druppelgroottes tot gevolg het nie bv. newelblasers, ULV-toedieners, of soortgelyke toerusting.
• Moet nie modderige water gebruik nie.
• Met rugsak- en handspuite, meng minstens 1 deel
GRAMOXONE met 40 dele water.
• Dra rubberhandskoene en ‘n gesigskerm wanneer die konsentraat hanteer word. Indien dit in u oë kom, spoel onmiddellik
uit. Indien dit op u vel kom, was dadelik af. Indien dit op u klere
mors trek uit en was dit. (Sien Noodhulp).
• Keer die leë houer om oor die spuit- of mengtenk en dreineer
vir minstens 30 sekondes nadat die vloei tot ‘n gedrup verminder het. Spoel die houer daarna driekeer uit met ‘n volume
water gelykstaande aan ‘n minimum van 10 % van die inhoud
van die houer. Gooi die spoelwater by die inhoud van die spuittenk voordat die houer vernietig word.
• Dra rubberhandskoene en gesigskerm tydens toediening.
Vermy inaseming van spuitnewel en kontak met die spuitstof
sover moontlik. Vermy oorwaai van die spuitnewel na weiding,
riviere, damme en gebiede wat nie onder behandeling is nie.
Vermy oorwaai na aangrensende gewasse aangesien groen
plantweefsel deur die spuitstof beskadig sal word.
• Was die houer uit as dit leeg is. Moet dit nie weer gebruik
nie. Druk dit plat of sny stukkend en verbrand of begrawe dit
dan. Hou ongebruikte GRAMOXONE in hierdie houer, dig
toe, weg van voedsel en voer. Gooi waswater weg waar dit
nie gewasse, weiding, riviere of damme sal besoedel nie. Trek
werksklere uit en was dit. Was uself.
Noodhulp:
Spatsels in oë: spoel oë vir 10 - 15 minute met skoon water.
Raadpleeg ‘n geneesheer.
INDIEN GRAMOXONE INGESLUK WORD, veroorsaak braking.
Neem die persoon saam met hierdie houer en etiket onmiddellik
na ‘n hospitaal vir mediese noodbehandeling.
Mediese noodbehandeling:
Gee 1 l suspensie van Vollersaarde (15 %) of Bentoniet (7 %)
of geaktiveerde houtskool. Dien ook ‘n purgeermiddel toe, bv.
Mannitol (20 % oplossing). Raadpleeg handleiding “Paraquat poisoning. A practical Guide to diagnosis, first aid and Hospital treatment.” (beskikbaar van GRAMOXONE-verspreiders) of skakel
Bateleur 911 by +27 (0) 8312 33 911.
3. WEERSTANDBESTUUR
GRAMOXONE is ‘n groepkode D onkruiddoder. Enige populasie van ‘n spesifieke onkruide mag individue insluit wat ‘n natuurlike weerstand teen GRAMOXONE, of enige ander groepkode D
onkruiddoder hê. Indien hierdie onkruiddoder in herhaaldelike en
eksklusiewe programme aangewend word, kan die weerstandbiedende individue uiteindelik die onkruid populasie oorheers.
Hierdie weerstandbiedende onkruide sal waarskynlik nie deur
GRAMOXONE of enige ander groepkode D onkruiddoder,
beheer word nie.
Om weerstand teen onkruiddoder te vertraag:
• Vermy die herhaaldelike en eksklusiewe gebruik van onkruiddoder in dieselfde onkruiddoder groepkode. Wissel af met,
of gebruik tenkmengels van produkte in verskillende onkruiddoder groepkodes.
• Integreer ander beheermaatreëls (chemies, verbouing, biologies) in swamdoder programme.
Vir spesifieke inligting oor weerstandsbestuur kontak die
registrasiehouer van hierdie produk.

4.1 Verenigbaarheid:
GRAMOXONE is verenigbaar met AGRAL 90 (L2967),
COMPLEMENT SUPER (L8169), DUAL GOLD (L5749), FALCON
GRAMOXONE / 2
GOLD (L5750), GARDOMIL GOLD (L6246), GESAPRIM SUPER
(L3914), LUMAX (L7483), MEDAL GOLD (L6396), METAGAN
GOLD (L5748), MIDSTREAM (L4532), PRIMAGRAM GOLD
(L6247) en TERBUZIN 600 SC (L4683).
Wanneer GRAMOXONE in tenkmengsels met ander onkruiddoders gebruik gaan word, moet klein hoeveelhede van die
middels eers afsonderlik met water gemeng word in dieselfde
verhouding as wat dit gebruik gaan word. Voeg hierdie mengsels
bymekaar terwyl aanhoudend geroer word en let op vir enige
tekens van onverenigbaarheid bv. flokkulasie, ens. In hierdie geval
moet al die waarskuwings, voorsorgmaatreëls en gebruiksaanwysings op die etikette van die betrokke middels, nagekom word.
4.2 Menginstruksies:
Meng die aanbevole hoeveelheid GRAMOXONE met skoon
water in die spuittenk. Indien GRAMOXONE in ‘n tenkmengsel

met ander onkruiddoder(s) gebruik word, volg die mengvoorskrifte
op daardie etiket. Dit is noodsaaklik om tydens toediening van
tenkmengsels voortdurend te roer.
GRAMOXONE is ‘n kontakonkruiddoder en moet slegs op
onkruide in die vroeë groeistadiums toegedien word vir optimale
beheer. VERMY toediening op groot gevestigde onkruide aangesien die beheer nie bevredigend sal wees nie en meer as een
toediening nodig mag wees. Hergroei mag ook voorkom onder
hierdie toestande.
Dien met grondspuittoerusting of rugsakspuite toe. GEBRUIK
HOËVOLUME EN HOË-TOEDIENINGSHOEVEELHEDE VIR DIE
BESPUITING VAN DIGTE ONKRUIDGROEI. Verseker dat onkruid
deeglik benat word. Moet nie knoppe of groen dele van enige
gewas bespuit nie. GRAMOXONE vernietig alle groen weefsel,
maar sal nie volgroeide bruin bas beskadig nie.

Voeg of AGRAL 90 by teen 50 ml/100 l spuitmengsel (2,5 ml/5 l water) of Complement Super teen 100 ml/ha.

Mielieplante moet ten minste 30 cm hoog wees. Moet nie toedien in mielies onder stremming of mielies met ‘n lae opbrengspotensiaal of tydens
winderige toestande of op lande met ongelyke oppervlakke nie.
BELANGRIK: Raadpleeg al die etikette van die produkte in die mengsel met
GRAMOXONE vir voorsorgmaatreëls, gebruiksaanwysings, gebruiksbeperkings,
dosisse, menginstruksies en onkruide beheer.
LET WEL: Die onderste blare van die mielieplant sal skroei. Sorg moet gedra
word om te voorkom dat enige spuitmiddel met meer as die onderste 2 blare
in aanraking kom, aangesien meer skade aan die mielieplant die oesopbrengs
kan verlaag.

Bespuitings met LUMAX + GRAMOXONE kan breedwerpig tot op die 30 cm
hoogte gespuit word in die geval van ratoenriet.
In die geval van plantriet moet GRAMOXONE nie later as die “spike” stadium van
die suikerriet toegedien word nie.

Dien toe as ‘n algehele bespuiting of slegs op plantrye vooropkoms van eerstejaar hopsteggies om jong eenjarige grasse en breëblaaronkruide te beheer.
GRAMOXONE kan saam met geregistreerde aanbevole vooropkoms onkruiddoders toegedien word.
GRAMOXONE kan ook gebruik word om jong onkruide te beheer en dien
as ‘n afbrandmiddel op gevestigde hops gedurende winter maar nie later as
September nie.
