Introduction
The purpose of this document is to communicate the level of service you will receive
through the MPA Financial Management Private Client service. This includes our
responsibilities to you, the services included and an outline of the fees system used by MPA
in return for our services.
We will also give a brief overview of MPA Financial Management - our values and principles
- which will help to illustrate how our high standards of service were established and how we
strive to maintain them.
Advice for Life
MPA is a firm of highly-regarded Chartered Financial Planners based in Henley-in-Arden,
Warwickshire. Our primary focus is on helping you achieve your financial goals, leading to a
happy and fruitful life. To this end, we only employ the best, most qualified staff who share
MPA’s values. We also spend time getting to know our clients in order to understand the
motivation behind your financial goals. This means we can properly understand you in order
to offer the right advice to help achieve those goals.
We have distilled our company philosophy into three words: Inform, Educate, Inspire.

Service Agreement
MPA Private Client is the highest level of service we offer to our clients. It has been designed
with the wealthy in mind, who want and expect a certain level of service. MPA Private Client
is delivered by a highly qualified adviser who understands your needs and wants regarding tax
planning, investment management, generation planning, business planning and offers a unique
holistic approach. The adviser will be supported by a named, highly qualified paraplanner.
This is the process we follow to deliver this exceptional level of service.

We will use our years of experience and high level of qualifications to
produce a financial planning report that will be distilled into The Plan.
The Plan is a one page overview of your financial goals in life, they may include retirement
planning, investment management, estate planning or education fees planning.
We will agree the amount of risk you are willing to take, timeframes and assets that you can
commit to and then set you on course with an investment solution.

Each quarter we will review the progress of The Plan, make amendments
necessary to get you back on track, review your current investments and
cashflow and update you on changes in legislation or market conditions.

We will work with you and your family to ensure you have peace of mind
as well as an excellent level of service. Your family members are more than
welcome to attend the review sessions and we can design the reviews around topics that you
would like to discuss together, we call this The Roadmap.

Team of Experts
One of the key points of the Private Client proposition is that it is delivered
by a team of experts. At review meetings you can talk directly to the person
who specialises in a specific area such as estate planning or insurance of valuable
vehicles and properties. You will still be supported by your adviser and
paraplanner, this extra level of specialism ensures no messages are diluted and
you can discuss your circumstances directly with the experts.

Over the years we have developed relationships with trusted experts in allied professions
and in order to give you a holistic service we work closely with them according to your
needs. You have access not only to the experts at MPA but to dependable specialists, with
whom we have a long standing relationship (such as accountants and solicitors).
Regular reviews
You will have quarterly reviews, so that you know you are on track to meet your financial
goals, allowing you to amend the approach taken as your circumstances change, from building
businesses to retiring and estate planning.
Online valuations
You have permanent access to your account information using our online WRAP service. A
WRAP service consolidates all the independent elements of your financial portfolio, including
pensions, bonds, unit trusts, ISAs and direct shares and allows you to access them through
one secure website. The benefits of this are that at any point in time you have access to the
performance information of your portfolio without the need for multiple logins.
Full financial planning service
We offer a full financial planning service to all our MPA Private Clients. The level of
commitment you make to us is up to you. However, we ask at 'minimum' for an annual
meeting to discuss your options with you.
Adviser access
Whether you want a quick phone chat or to organise a meeting, your MPA financial adviser
is just a phone call away. All our advisers are qualified to at least diploma level and our
administrators each have a qualification in financial planning.

Remuneration Agreement
To ensure complete transparency in the costs for the different services we offer, this
document sets out the price structure we use. We will always double-check that you fully
understand the cost of a service before we commence work on your behalf.
Advice and Implementation Fee
There would be an initial fee of between 1–3% of the amount to be invested. The exact
amount depends on the work involved in setting up the investments and the investable
amount. This could be paid either by cheque or deducted from the investment deposit.
MPA Private Client Plus
For clients paying fees over £5000 per annum there is no initial fee.
Ongoing Fees
We use a sliding scale for the pricing of our service dependent on how much money you
choose to invest with us. Here is a breakdown of how we calculate our fees and these can be
taken either by cheque, standing order or from the investment.

£3 million + by negotiation
There is a chance you may incur additional fees for certain services or the implementation of
certain recommendations. We will always inform you of these charges and obtain an explicit
agreement from you before commencing work. We have a number of other services and
their prices are available on our website.
Example
If you invest £500,000 and the initial fee is 1% and the ongoing fee is 0.75% then this will cost
£5000 up-front and £3750 per annum. For an investment of £1 million the initial fee is 1%
and the ongoing fee is 0.5% then this will cost £10,000 up-front and £5,000 per annum.
