Import from DU Page 4 Version 2011.08 Release Notes GENERAL FUNCTIONS Home Page Tabs Menu Option: Loan Compliance Permission Required: Lender Banners Programming Notes: The home page now has tabs on the left side: Home, Loan List / Pipeline, Loan Information, an optional lender tab and Your Information. The optional tab is associated with "Home Page Extra Tab 1" in the Lender Banners section. Page 5 Version 2011.08 Release Notes Page 6 Version 2011.08 Release Notes About Us You can create a more engaging about us page that includes information, links to pictures that are available by linking to a URL, etc. Page 7 Version 2011.08 Release Notes Home Page Loan Tab The Loan Information tab on the home page contains a summary of the loan, loan links and a stage-by-stage status section. The available sections are Compliance, Lock, Underwriting, Order Closing Documents, Closing & Funding. Only users with the Compliance GFE Admin permission can view the compliance segment and it will only show up for loans where basis tracking is on. Each segment should show status with an icon to the left side and the color of the background will change to green when a segment is completed. Also, links and key information are displayed in each segment. Page 8 Version 2011.08 Release Notes Lender Notes to Compliance Programming Notes: Added “Compliance” as a department in Notes. Added notes sections on the GFE Event Log pages, GFE Administration and GFE Redisclosure pages. As before, these notes can be cleared when the GFE Admin has addressed the information contained in the Note. After clearing, the Note shows clear and is retained in the Lender Notes screen under the Loan menu. Page 9 Version 2011.08 Release Notes Custom Forms Page Updated Menu Option: Loan Forms Permission Required: Custom Form Editing Programming Notes: The forms list has been split into two sections: 1) folder list and 2) forms associated with the folders. The folder section always contains a “Favorites” and an “All Forms” folder Custom Folders: Users with the Custom Form Editing permission can Add/Delete/Rename folders by clicking "Add Folder" or rename one by clicking the pencil icon o Add Folder link - used to create a new folder then change the name of the folder o Delete Folder link – used to delete an empty folder Favorites Folder: In the forms list section, two elements have been added: o Favorites icon - any forms for which the user selects the favorites icon will show up in the user's personal Favorites folder o Checkbox - with the checkbox, a user can select multiple forms to generate Move Forms: Users with the Custom Form Editing permission can move forms into the desired custom folder by selecting the form(s) and clicking the “Move to…” link o Moving a form creates a link inside the folder to the desired form o Moving a form does not take it out of the All Forms folder o A form can only be moved into one folder. o Multiple forms can be selected and moved using the checkbox Remembered View: o Within a single session, once a user has selected a folder, they will be returned to that folder on subsequent visits o At the bottom of the page, there is a Default Folder dropdown that can be changed to set the default folder that will be opened when a user visits the page in a new session P a g e 10 Version 2011.08 Release Notes P a g e 11 Version 2011.08 Release Notes Loan List grid settings Menu Option: Loan Open Loan Programming Notes: Previously the grid settings were only applying to the Loan Status and Production Center dropdowns. Once the reporting fields have initially been generated, clicking the "Update..." link will cause the system to check all the existing fields, change field names if a type's name has changed and deleting fields for any fee types that have been deleted. P a g e 14 Version 2011.08 Release Notes ORIGINATION FUNCTIONS DU Credit Reports duplicate check Menu Option: Loan Desktop Underwriter Permission Required: Desktop Underwriter Programming Notes: Previously we were determining whether to save a credit report in the list based on whether the report number or original date had changed. This has been modified to additionally check the file size and, if all of the above match, to compare the files byte-by-byte. If the files don't match, the report gets added. DU Export to Mortgage Machine Menu Option: Loan Desktop Underwriter Permission Required: Desktop Underwriter - Import from DU Programming Notes: On the Desktop Underwriter page, users with the " Desktop Underwriter - Import from DU " can now see an "Import from DU" section at the bottom of the page. o On a loan with no findings, the Mornet Case ID # field will be editable. o Once findings have been received, the field is no longer editable. o Clicking the "Import Latest Findings and Credit Report" button will check for newer findings and credit report. If the findings are already present, then a message will state this. NOTE (Test before assigning this permission) o This has affected various DU processes, so the underwriting function needs to be fully tested. o Also there are substantial variances to how conventional vs FHA/VA findings are handled, so both scenarios should be tested. P a g e 15 Version 2011.08 Release Notes COMPLIANCE FUNCTIONS LO Contract List and Entity Display Changes Menu Option: Settings LO Contracts Permission Required: LO Compensation Admin Programming Notes: On the Office and User Detail pages, a warning is now shown if the contract is expired or not yet effective. Also if the entity is inheriting a contract, this information is displayed. On the contract edit dialog, a better explanation is provided for inheritance. If a user or office does not have any contract records (past, present or future), they automatically inherit their office or company contracts. However, when an entity has one or more contracts, but none are currently in effect, they will only inherit IF the inherit checkbox is checked. On the contract edit dialog, if a user or office is inheriting, it will now display the source of the contract. Added two new filters to the LO Contract List screen. o For “Users” added an Inactive filter which includes Inactive users in the list o For “Contract Status” added an option "Not Filtered by Contract Status". This page has a grid setting view/filter settings. at the bottom right of the list window so that you can save your NOTE: Remember that the filter is two part, you are filtering for company/office/user AND contract status. If a user’s system status is “Archived” or “Denied”, they would be affected by the Inactive setting. However, if the user has a Current contract and you have your filter set to Current, they will show up in the list if your filter is set to “Current” P a g e 16 Version 2011.08 Release Notes UNDERWRITING FUNCTIONS Underwriting Overview: Additional Transmittal Information Menu Option: Settings LO Contracts Permission Required: LO Compensation Admin Programming Notes: On the Underwriting Overview, below the transmittal list on the left side, there will now be additional published information about the transmittals: No transmittal exists: "Since no transmittals exist for this loan, changes to origination data are being reflected in the underwriting fields in reporting.” o When no transmittal exists, then the system is using the Origination data and the flow of data is open. o For example, if you have a Loan Amount (UW) field in a report and there is no transmittal, it would be using the (App) data. Transmittal started, but not published: "No transmittals have yet been published." o If the UW opens a transmittal, but hasn't published, then the flow of data has stopped between the App data and the UW data. Transmittal published: "The most recent published date for the above transmittals is xx/xx/xx xx:xx." o After publishing, you see the date/time so that you know how recently it was published and how recent the data is that was used in the UW dataset for reporting. NOTE: This is provided for better transparency into internal processes and, since GFE comparison data source is partially based on whether a transmittal has been published at some point, to display this information. Keep in mind how the underwriting dataset gets updated. Until there is a transmittal created, changes to the app should push to underwriting. Once a transmittal has been created, the UW dataset reflects the PUBLISHED data. P a g e 17 Version 2011.08 Release Notes DOC PREP FUNCTIONS Doc Order Queue - Workgroups Menu Option: Settings LO Contracts Permission Required: LO Compensation Admin Programming Notes: All new orders are now associated with a workgroup, if workgroups are setup. Added a "Workgroup" filter dropdown with two options: o o 1) My Workgroups, which "includes: a) orders assigned to a group you are a member of, b) orders that are not assigned to groups, c) all orders that you have claimed, regardless of group association, and d) orders associated with loans on which you have a Doc Preparer assignment." 2) All Workgroups Replaced "Production Center" with "Workgroup" in the list. "Active" in the Order Status dropdown no longer includes orders marked "To Title". Note that if the lender does not have any Doc Preparer workgroups setup, the Workgroup filter does not show up. P a g e 18 Version 2011.08 Release Notes POST-CLOSING FUNCTIONS Note Received field in Loan Tracking Menu Option: Loan Tracking Permission Required: Tracking Programming Notes: A field in the Post-Closing Category called “Note Received” has been added to the Loan Tracking page. (Reminder, the tracking fields on the Loan Tracking page are optional, so if some fields are not being used, simply deselect them from the Lender Settings > Tracking tab list.) This is also available in reporting in the Loan Data dataset. "Lender Event Routing" has been changed to "Lender Notifications. Each page in this sub-menu now has tabs at the top to get to all of the other pages. P a g e 20 Version 2011.08 Release Notes Assignment Types page is now the Business Roles page Menu Option: Settings Assignments & Notifications Programming Notes: Changed the Assignment List page to Business Roles. The list is now grouped more clearly by the type of role and a column has been added: Assignment Method". The Assignment Method can be either User Assignments (the existing method), Workgroups or Both. Note that when using workgroups, the backup role will still be used if no group or user can be assigned. Added a magnifying glass icon on each line that will audit email routing for the business role, if a loan is currently open. Audit information includes the group to be assigned (if applicable) and the email addresses that notification related to this role would send to. P a g e 21 Version 2011.08 Release Notes Workgroups Menu Option: Settings Assignments & Notifications Permission Required: Workgroup Management Programming Notes: On the Workgroup List page, you can view existing workgroups, delete and add new ones. The model is similar to the underwriting groups, with some options from underwriting not implemented, but a better entity association model and a status setting to temporarily (or permanently) stop assignments to a group or archive. At present, while all business roles can have groups setup, the only queue where these workgroups are used is Doc Prep. From the Workgroup Detail page, you can define associations by clicking the "Add" button, selecting an entity type (user, office, company, production center, lender (i.e. everyone), a specific entity and optionally a business channel. Also, specific mortgage types can be selected. NOTE that options specific to subsequent submissions are not included at this time. Added an audit section that, if a loan is open, shows the group that would be selected for that loan, as well as the users and email addresses that would be notified were this group selected for the given loan.
