Overview
• The Titan Ozone Generator produces ozone (O3) using a Philips
brand ultra violet light. The 16 watt light bulb is housed safely in
a heavy duty steel case. This Ozone Generator neutralizes odors
at their source. It will eliminate odors of all types including
smoke, molds, pets and a variety of other organic smells.
• Ozone is a form of elemental oxygen. The molecules of ozone
contain three oxygen atoms (O3) and are unstable and reactive relative to O2. It is a powerful oxidizing agent. It can oxidize
many organic compounds and is used commercially as a deodorizing agent. Because it is a powerful germicide, it is also used to
sterilize air and drinking water.

Installation
Place unit on a shelf in a room or mount it to the wall. Ozone is heavier
than air, so it is recommended that it be located up high. The unit can
also be placed inside ventilation ducting. The Ozone Generator should
be placed in an area away from human activity. Keep all obstructions
away from the unit. Locate the unit only in a dry place. Do not get it wet.
Controlling Output
Use a timer to control the output of this unit. To reduce the amount
of ozone in your area, reduce the time the unit is on and/or increase
ventilation.
Warning
Do not use this unit in small confined spaces where people are present.
Ozone can be hazardous. This unit is recommended for commercial applications. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OHSA)
states Ozone at concentrations above 0.05 parts per million (PPM) is
associated with respiratory and other health related problems. Exposures to ozone above this level can result in headaches, throat and nasal
dryness, bronchitis and other respiratory ailments. The OSHA limit for
exposure to ozone are .1 PPM for 8 hours (Table Z-1 Limits for Air Contaminants). Do not allow Ozone PPM levels to exceed these limits. Turn
the unit off and evacuate the area if Ozone levels become too high.
Safety and Maintenance
The unit should never be opened while plugged in. The UV light emitted
by the bulb can be harmful to your eyes. The only service required is to
clean the lamp and reflector once every 6-7 months. Do not alter any
safety devices of this unit.

Warranty

workmanship and parts for 36 months. The lamp is guaranteed
