In 1964 Don Laughlin, owner of Las Vegas'
101 Club, flew over Laughlin and offered to
buy the property. In less than two years the
motel and bar, now called the Riverside
Resort, was offering all-you-can-eat chicken
dinners for 98 cents, play on 12 slot machines
and two live gaming tables. Guest
accommodations were available in four of the
motel's eight motel rooms. The Laughlin
family lived in the other four rooms.


Nugget Casino, or there is a river front
casino. If you like to shop there is a mall

This exciting 31st annual event will roar into Laughlin
with more than 40,000 motorcycle enthusiasts. This is
the largest motorcycle-oriented event on the West
Coast. Activities include stunt shows.

Rockets Over The River
For the 23rd year, this extraordinary fireworks display is
one of the most spectacular and exciting in the West. Just
after dusk on Thursday, July 4, a multitude of rockets will
be shot into the dark .
There are some trailer parks. There are
also some 40 dollar hotels. Some are
more, some are less, than 40 dollars.

