Open “Part Label Printer”
There are five options available
to identify the appropriate parts:
Parts
Invoices
Sales Orders
Receipts
and
Purchase Orders
That’s just the beginning !!
BSoft’s Part Label Printer
The “Parts” tab allows you to
select:
All parts
A range of parts
and
All product lines
or
A Specific range of product
lines
That’s only one tool !!
BSoft’s Part Label Printer
The “Invoice” option allows
you access parts based on:
Today’s invoice activity
or
Invoices within a specified date
range
Once you have selected
today’s invoice activity or a
specific date range
You select the customer
invoices you wish to print part
labels for

As you select the desired
customer invoices
The parts contained on the
selected invoices will appear on
the right side of the screen with
quantities
Part Label Printer has two
label print options
One label per part
or
Wait it gets even better !!
One label per unit of the
identified part
BSoft’s Part Label Printer
“Linked Invoices” option makes more specific information
available to the part label printer
such as:
BusinessWorks sales order number
and
Customer’s PO number
Select the desired invoice dates
Check the “Link Invoice” box
Than select the specific invoice
you wish to print parts labels for
(you may only select one due to the informational
reference)
And select your label option

The “Orders” option allows
you print part labels for orders
based on:
Today’s Orders
Order Date
Release Date
Required Date
The later three options can be
used to target a specific date or
date range
And of course the label
option; per part or per unit

As the appropriate orders are
selected the right side of the
screen will populate with the
parts
“Link Order” option; similar
to “link Invoice” makes more
specific information available to
the part label printer such as:
Business Works sales order
number
Customer’s PO number
Select the appropriate label
option

The “Receipts” option allows
you print part labels for parts
on any receipt or build
Maintains a rolling list of the
30 most recent transactions
Flags the receipt/build after
labels have been printed
And of course the label
option; per part or per unit

The “Purchase Orders”
option allows you print part
labels for purchase orders
searched by:
PO Number
or
Vendor
All purchase orders are shown
regardless of status
As the purchase orders are
selected, the parts will show on
the right side of the screen
The “Linked PO” option
(similar to other “linked” tools is also available)

Selecting and editing the label
From any of the available
screens you need to select the
appropriate printer
and
Then search for the appropriate
form
When selecting the form, the
label file will pop open
Basic Part Label is the default
choice

Adding and Customizing Labels

From any of the screens,
select the “Edit” button next
to the Form field
The Report Builder Form
Editor will appear
From this screen you can
create and customize new
labels and save them to use in
the Print Part Labels
program
*You can also add barcodes!

O/E Invoice is available on
Part Label Printer
This works with sheet labels
and most dedicated label
printers

Example 1
I want to print part labels for
orders
 with a required date between
10/2/08 and 10/9/08
I want to link to Order number to
the part label
I chose to print for the DOJ order
Remember, only one order may be selected at
a time when linking the order to the part
labels
Select the parts I want labels for
Select the label option
Select the appropriate form & print
Let’s try another example !!

I want to print part labels for
the Purchase Orders that were
just received
Select Purchase Order tab
Select the specific purchase
orders
Select the appropriate label and
printer
Choose your desired label
option
