Wellbeing workshop for carers
of an older person
Building inner strength can assist you with
daily stress and help you to bounce back
from setbacks.
This workshop aims to help you develop or
strengthen your resilience by understanding
and avoiding burnout, tapping into strengths
and learning how to press the “pause” button
whenever that is needed.
Facilitator, Dr Lisa Engel, is a health
psychologist who specialises in assisting
people to adjust to the demands of living in
challenging circumstances.
Who Should Attend?
Carers, family members, friends who are
supporting an older person who is living at
home.
We can assist with in-home respite, transport
and interpreters; please inquire when booking.

Longbeach Place is located at 15 Chelsea Road, Chelsea. It is a five minute walk from
Chelsea Railway Station, bus stops, shops (approx. 200 metres in distance).
If you are travelling south along Nepean Highway (or Station Street), turn left at the traffic
lights located beside Chelsea Railway Station (into Chelsea Road).
If you are travelling north along Nepean Highway (or Station Street), turn right at the traffic
lights located beside Chelsea Railway Station (into Chelsea Road).
Chelsea Library is situated on the corner of Chelsea Road:
Walk/drive past the Library. There is a large carpark beside the Library.
Longbeach Place is located on the opposite side of this carpark.
It is a single-story building, easily identified by the large mural on the side of the building
(closest to Chelsea Road).
Entrance is via the automatic doors that are located in the middle section of the building.
