GEORGIE PIE FANS NOW HAVE TWO CHOICES
Following the successful revival of the iconic Steak Mince ‘N’ Cheese Georgie Pie, McDonald’s is reintroducing another classic to the menu – the Chicken ‘N’ Vegetable. The pie is available nationwide from
tomorrow.
McDonald’s was inundated with requests from customers for other Georgie Pie favourites from the
moment the re-launch was announced in May 2013. Chicken ‘N’ Vegetable was a common request and
also ranked highest when McDonald’s Facebook fans were polled.
With the national roll out of Georgie Pie to the majority of McDonald’s restaurants all but complete, the
timing for a new choice was right. McDonald’s will continue to look at bringing back more of the delicious
flavours nostalgic Georgie Pie fans remember and even look at introducing some brand new ones.
The Chicken ‘N’ Vegetable pie is slightly different to the original, which only came in the larger round
shape and size. However McDonald’s has stayed true to the original recipe as much as they can. The most
significant change is that the new pie has no added MSG.
The Chicken ‘N’ Vegetable Georgie pie will be launched on March 5, priced at $4.50 and the pie will be
available from 10.30am.
