Accept Or Reject Appointment Requests
When a client goes to the website and asks to meet with you, you can either accept or reject the
appointment. You also have the option of changing the appointment time for the client if you know the
client’s availability. (This is not documented. Use the Edit option.)
1.
You will receive an e-mail titled “New Appointment Request Requires Approval” that is sent
from [email protected] to the e-mail address the website has for you.

Click on the link in the e-mail (highlighted in red, bold above)
Note: Depending on your browser, you may need to launch the browser then copy-and-paste
the link into the address line.
For some mentors, the link in the e-mail is not active. In this case,

In the address line type in scorela.org then press enter
c.
Click on Mentors Only
d.
Log in using your username and password
e.
Click on the Login button under Appointment Management
f.
Proceed as described in step 3 below.
If you are NOT logged into the scorela.org website, a login screen is displayed

If you had to log into the scorela.org website, click again on the link in the e-mail.
The Appointments home page is launched.
Note that the requested appointment is in orange, indicating it is pending.

When you Click on the requested time you see the details of the requested appointment.

Click on the arrow to the right of Pending to access the Accept or Reject options.

The choices available to you are shown.

7.
APPROVE THE APPOINTMENT
7.1 To Approve the appointment, click on the green Approve.
7.2 Note the appointment color changes to green to indicate approved.
7.3 Both you and the client receive an e-mail titled “Your Appointment Approved”
The client’s e-mail states:
SCORE LOS ANGELES
Thank you for your appointment request. Your appointment is now approved. Your volunteer mentor has set aside time just for you
and SCORE expects that you will honor the appointment you requested

REJECT THE APPOINTMENT
8.1 Click on Reject.
8.2 You are given an opportunity to enter a reject reason.
Click on the Confirm button
8.3 The pending appointment is deleted.

8.4 Both you and the client receive an e-mail, headed “Your Appointment - Not Accepted”.
SCORE LOS ANGELES Thank you for your appointment request. We are sorry, your appointment cannot be accepted at this time.
Reason:
I will be out of town. Please return to the website and reschedule the appointment
