Supply Chain Framework



CHG-MERIDIAN has been appointed to the NHS Supply Chain Framework for
Financial Services
Framework enables hospitals, CCG’s and other NHS providers to finance

CHG-MERIDIAN UK Ltd is delighted to announce it has been appointed to the NHS Supply
Chain Framework and is ranked as number one supplier for Financial Services based on
the NHS Supply Chain tender submission assessment. In an independent review, CHGMERIDIAN received the highest rating, with a score of 91.25%.
The Framework Agreement offers residual value and non-residual value leases on preapproved documentation to NHS Supply Chain customers. This empowers Trusts to
manage their capital budgets and align expenditure with the realisation of benefits of
deployment and use of their IT and medical assets. “For CHG-MERIDIAN the NHS Supply

CHG-MERIDIAN is a Technology Manager in the areas of IT, industrial and healthcare
technologies. Its services encompass everything from initial advice and concept
development to the procurement of equipment and its installation in the workplace and the
ultimate disposal or reconditioning and resale of used equipment. CHG-MERIDIAN has
state-of-the-art technology such as servers, computers, monitors, printers, industrial
machinery, and medical equipment worth €3.5 billion on its books, which it rents and
leases to companies and public sector clients in more than 19 countries worldwide.
CHG-MERIDIAN’s high score was merited from the evaluation of the tender responses to
the Lot 1 Questionnaire. This detailed a range of customer and service standards, such
as quality, social values, sustainability, environmental impact and supporting SME’s. The
questionnaire was evaluated and scored by an independent consulting group, comprised
of a panel of NHS lease customers. The answer to each question was allotted a score,
aggregated and then equated to a percentage. CHG-MERIDIAN achieved over 90%.
The Framework enables hospitals, CCG’s and other NHS providers to lease equipment
and enjoy services in a cost-effective manner. All the Lessors appointed under the
agreement have been peer reviewed with the same stringent criteria. They are also
required to provide the best service level as part of their inclusion on the Framework.
Period of Framework Agreement: 1st June 2014 to 31st May 2017 (with the option to
extend up to 12 months subject to reviews)
