Games
From 3-18 October 2008, in Beijing, China,
the first World Mind Sports Games are to be
organized. Three thousand mind sporters will compete
for the highest honour in their sport. The first Games of
the four year cycle will take place in the hypermodern
Beijing National Convention Centre.
The plans for the draughts and checkers
tournaments are ambitious and grand. Experience
these Games as a spectator, or… as a participant!
The 100 squares section organizes a Men’s and a
Women’s tournament in the first week. The second week
a rapid tournament will be held. Two hundred draughts
