Isover Vario Membrane System The solution for airtightness and protection against moisture The Isover Vario Membrane System is an innovative membrane system designed to manage moisture within frame and lining systems whilst maintaining or enhancing airtightness. Isover Vario KM Duplex UV Membrane is part of a suite of components designed to protect against moisture accumulation, interstitial condensation and associated issues and provide superior performance. The range includes specially developed tape and sealant systems that are fully compatible with the Vario membrane. Tapes are non-ageing and enable fast and efficient joining; together the parts ensure the maximum performance of the Vario system. Vario Membrane System • Vario KM Duplex UV Membrane: A Nylon re-inforced vapour control layer with variable vapour resistivity properties • 3 times stronger than polythene – less likely to damage during transit and installation • Easy to handle and cut, resulting in more efficient installation • High adhesion Tapes: UV resistance - 6 months, water resistant adhesives, tears by hand • Vario KB1: for airtight bonding of membrane seam overlaps. Single-sided adhesive tape with high bonding strength. • Vario MultiTape: For durable airtight joints in the membrane around roof windows, pipes, roof penetrations and at membrane overlaps. Flexible and ductile with high bonding strength. • Vario Pro-Tape: Used in metal framing solutions to hold the membrane in place. • Vario DS Sealant • Used for producing airtight joints and junctions between the membrane and floors, ceilings and walls.
