maintenance calibration plan shall be part of the offer
AND also be part of the Equipment documentation to
be provided under stage 1b.
d. Equipment spare parts and consumables shall be
available for purchase during the expected life of the
performance of the contract
e. If the Equipment is assembled of more than one
analyzer unit, ease of accessibility shall be assured for
each part.
f. Provided with multiple gas sampling of minimum six
gas streams and a sufficient number of gas calibration
lines, including automated switching via the
Equipment’s operation software
g. Prevent water condensation inside the Equipment in
case of analysis of gas mixtures with residual humidity.
h. Automated Equipment calibration.
j. Computerized data acquisition and operation and
processing software (spectrum visualization, search and
libraries, etc) including computer and flat screen
monitor with GPIB (IEEE 488.2) and ETHERNET
communication interface or equivalent supporting the
TCP/IP network protocol and input for external alarm
signals (i.e. gas & fire alarms, panic buttons, etc).
Operation and analysis software (incl. libraries and
Gaussian/Non-Gaussian de-convolution) licenses shall
apply to the entire period of the performance of the
contract including any possible extended warranty.

hour subject to the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) to
be performed in stage 1a.
3.3 OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
a. Upon completion of stage 1b, the Equipment shall
operate during the performance of the contract of up to
1,000 hrs per year (corresponding to approximately 8
hours per working day) in performing quantitative and
qualitative analysis.
b. The Equipment shall be operational within 30 minutes
from switch-on.
c. Unattended operation including fail-safe shutdown
d. Ability for Equipment calibration (see 3.1.d). The
Equipment shall have the option of selecting an
automatically calibration performed in intervals
dependent, for example, on number of analyses
