Senior Executive officer of the Society
Presides at all General Meetings in the capacity of Chairperson
Ex-Officio member of all committees
Co-ordinates proposals for amendment to the Constitution, By-Laws, Roles &
Responsibilities or Policy & Procedures of the Society
Accepts full responsibilities & duties of the President in the absence of the President
Maintains register of all affiliated clubs,
Maintains registration of Society Membership
Provides voting strength for all General Meetings.
Co-ordinates special activities and promotions on behalf of the Society
All media releases, intercommunication and PR exercises.
Ex-officio member of all committees
Public Officer of the Society
Correspondence In/Out
Shall be a suitable friendly contact person for new clubs, answering enquiries, and liaising
with club secretaries, members, affiliated bodies, Government departments and
committees.
Prepares Agenda for CoM /OGM/SGM & AGM, including minutes and ensuring
associated reports are distributed within timeframe required
Liaison with Sport & Recreation in relation to SDP Funding applications
Responsible for all the financial matters of the Society under the auspices of the CoM
Prepare Annual Statement of Income & Expenditure for submission to the Department of
Fair Trading
Prepare Certificates of Expenditure to State Government Departments, working with the
nominated auditor
Co-ordinates Metropolitan & State Championship events, including budgets for events.
Liasion officer between the Tournament Committee, Judges Convenor, CoM & Council
Liaison officer between the Society and the Masters.
Ex-officio member of all National Championship sub-committees.
Preparation of contracts for hosting of Society events.
Prepares a well balance calendar of clubs hosting tournament events from expressions of
interest received.
Responsible for the training and conduct of all Judges in NSW.
Responsible for the allocation of NSW Judges to all State and FITA/WA registered events in
NSW.
Responsible for the approval of judge expense claims.
Responsible for all State Judging equipment.
Maintain records of judge activities in NSW for accreditation and reaccreditation purposes.
Provide on-going education of rules and answering of rule enquiries.
Prepares all record claims / classification and awards
Replenishment of stock to meet the demands of the above
Prepare ¼ listing of records achieved by members
Co-ordinates points for Ross Herron / Sportsperson of the Year / Janet Wilks Memorial
award.
Responsible for co-ordination Coach Education Programs
Responsible for co-ordination of Archery Development Programs
Responsible for State Team Guidelines & Selection Process
Responsible for Clothing of State Team Members
Responsible for the co-ordination and development of Junior Archers and to represent
the interests of Juniors.
First line of contact for all complaints
Provides information about the rights, responsibilities and options available to an
individual making a complaint in sport.
