People susceptible to allergies should handle them with special care which includes usage of all recommended protective equipment. Acute Health Effects: Swallowed: Eye: Skin: Inhaled: Presents little toxicity unless large amounts are ingested which may cause irritation with gastrointestinal system with symptoms such as nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea, irregular heartbeat and hypertension. Irritant. Irritant. Inhalation of the product dust may irritate, inflame or sensitise the nose, throat and lungs, with symptoms such as coughing and sore throat. Chronic Health Effects: There is no known effect from chronic exposure to this type of fertiliser. Swallowed: FIRST AID Wash out mouth with water immediately and seek medical attention if necessary. Poison Information Centre can provide additional assistance. Irrigate immediately with plenty of water and if irritation persists seek medical attention. Skin: Wash with plenty of water and if irritation persists seek medical attention. Inhaled: Remove from exposure and if irritation persists seek medical attention.
