Outline:
ATLS protocol will be followed in an ABCDE manner through the secondary
survey. Additionally details such as directing support personnel, Xray studies,
Labs, blood products etc. will be demonstrated.
1. A demonstration of the primary and secondary survey will be performed
for the group.
2. There will be 3-4 scenarios set up for the participant to perform and
demonstrate primary and secondary surveys.
3. Participants will perform as many scenarios as time will allow.
Objective:
Students will be able to demonstrate a team leader role through a trauma
scenario.
