Join our 100 Club and Become a Winner
You can become a winner and support the Group at the same time by joining our 100
Club.
The 100 Club is a monthly prize draw that costs just £2 per month per number.
Members sign up for a 3, 6, 9 or 12 month term or until further notice and either pay
in advance by cheque or by standing order.
A percentage of the members’ contributions go into the monthly prize ‘pot’ – for
which there will be a draw for the 1st and 2nd prizes. The rest of the contributions go
the Group and provide funds to keep the Group running.
The prize ‘pot’ will vary depending on the number of members in the club – the more
members, the bigger the prizes.
The aim is to get at least 100 members in order to provide good prizes and swell the
Group’s funds.
We currently have a selection of numbers available between 1 and 100 so if you would
like to join the club and become a winner, just
a) Select your lucky number(s)
b) fill in the attached joining application form and return it to;

c) If paying by cheque, include it with your application form, payable to 1st Cheam
Scouts.
d) If paying by standing order please complete the attached new standing order
instruction and send this direct to your bank – NB the reference should be
your name then ‘100 Club’ eg; ‘R.Baden-Powell – 100 Club’.
If your selected number is already taken we will allocate you the next nearest
number.
When we have processed your application we will e-mail you confirmation of your lucky
numbers.
Also do invite your family & friends to join – the more members, the bigger the prizes
and the more we raise to keep the Group running.

100 Club rules
•
Each member will agree to subscribe £2 per month per share (number). Subscriptions
are;
£6 for 3 months,
£12 for 6 months,
£18 for 9 months or
£24 for the full year
payable in full with the application form if paying by cheque or payable by standing
order.
•
There is no limit to the number of shares any one member may purchase.
•
There will be a monthly draw, drawing from a hat of valid ticket numbers with an
independent supervisor who does not have a stake in the game.
•
Prizes can vary - the prizes will be increased as membership grows. The prize
schedule will be announced before the draw takes place.
•
Membership and inclusion in the draw is valid once payment has been received.
•
Players may select their own preferred numbers, in the range 1 – 100; should these not
be available, the next nearest number will be allocated.
•
The 1st Cheam 100 Club Committee reserves the right to adjust the number and value
of prizes.
•
Results from the draw will be communicated to all members by posting on the notice
board at the 1st Cheam Scout Headquarters.
