Ahimsa Retreat Details
The Retreat are a rare and unique opportunity as:● Dr. Kuchinard - a Western MD Physician, trained in America, will be
present during the retreat . Dr Kuchinard has a global and
overarching view of both western and ancient medical traditions such
as Ayurveda and this will enable you to deepen your understanding
enhance health and quality of life.
● During this Retreat you will live and receive Panchakarma
Treatments in a handcrafted home and Retreat Center, designed by
Dr Kuchinad, surrounded by a garden of beautiful Ayurvedic plants.
● Panchakarma Treatments will be administered by Unnikrishnan
Gurukkal, who was handpicked by Dr. Kuchinad after over two years
of her own research, personal treatments and observation.
He is a Kalari Master ( Ancient Kerala Martial Arts) who practices
Ayurveda/Panchakarma based in Marma Chikitsa and Traditional
Ayurveda.
● Panchkarma treatments will be individually tailored for each person to
suit their Prakruti (constitution) and Vikruti (imbalances) and will be
administered under the direct and strict supervision Unnikrishnan
Gurukkal.
● Guests will also have opportunities for special consultation from Dr.
Krishnan Nair who is a Professor at one of Keralas leading Ayurvedic
college. He has over 25 years of advanced Ayurvedic practical
experience dealing with more serious and active diseases.
● This retreat will also be an opportunity to Practice Yoga/Pranayama
and Meditation with either Anne-Marie or James and other local Yoga
teachers.
● This is also a retreat where you will get an opportunity to get a
glimpse of the Ancient Martial Art of Kalarippayat.
● Majority of the food you consume will be organic as far as possible
the fruits and vegetables served are grown in the Ahimsa Gardens
Duration: 7 day Panchakarma retreats with possibly an added
arrival day on which Treatment may not be possible. Realistically
Guests will need to plan 7+2 days for for travel etc
2. Maximum of 10 guests which ensures a very individual experience
3. Include Seven 1.5 -2 hour treatments administered by 2-3 people.
Panchakarma treatments tailored to each one’s constitution
(Prakruti) and imbalances (Vikruti) under the guidance of a hand
picked Kalari Marma Panchakarma Practitioner mentioned above.
4. Three simple organic vegetarian meals and fruits and tea will be
served while at home. Expenses of meals outside the home are not
covered by Ahimsa.

7. Airport pickup and drop off (as long as most guests arrive and leave
on the same day and can be picked up around the same time).
8. All other transportation costs are the responsibility of the guests.
9. A reliable car and driver or an auto-rickshaw can be arranged upon
request for added travel or trips for sightseeing, shopping usually
Dr.Kuchinad or one of the staff members will accompany the
guests.

1. Large bedroom with attached private bath single or double occupancy

5. People can extend their stays for additional treatments for a cost of
£145/day
