WHY IS FAMOUS
Roberto Clemente was a Puerto Rican baseball
player from the United States. He won two World
Series with the team for which he played his
professional life: the Pittsburgh Pirates. He has been
considered one of the best right fielders in history.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
The last year of his
career (1972) came
just the last day of
the season to three
thousand hits,
making him part of
the select group of
hitters who have
achieved this mark.
Clemente was
perhaps the most
dominant player of
the 1960s , and was
once elected to the
MVP of the National
League in 1966.
Roberto Clemente
won twelve "Golden
Gloves" throughout
his career.

PERSONAL LIFE
He was born in the San Antón neighborhood of the City of Carolina in Puerto
Rico.
His parents were Melchor Clemente and Luisa Walker.
Roberto was the youngest of the seven brothers
Roberto died on the night of December 31 took off from San Juan, Puerto Rico
but within a few meters of leaving the island it fell in the sea killing all the crew.
The cause of the accident seems to have been the overload of the device.
2 PERSONAL OPINIONS
In my opinion Roberto should be an example to follow that
despite being famous did not stop helping those in need.
I consider Roberto Clement as one of the best baseball players
because very few people have all the achievements he
accomplished.
