Ayutla Acapulco The neighborhood where we work What do Sacred Heart volunteers actually do? …work with children with teens … with women… SH volunteers reflect on all that they are living, seeing & learning about themselves & others. As an international group we share our culture & heritage with one other. Volunteers live in pairs with host families known by local Religious of the Sacred Heart THINGS PARENTS LIKE TO KNOW: • It is very safe!! • Volunteers do not roam around alone. • Days are full, wellplanned & supervised. This includes weekends. • We do most everything as a group. • We all live close to one another. • Parents are given phone numbers & can call at any time. • Volunteers have access to the internet to stay in e-mail contact. • Cost=$250 program fee + airfare. • It is very safe!!
