The Barrow Light® has proven to be truly
revolutionary and site changing for Eastern
Tree Services (ETS).
ETS is one of Australia’s largest vegetation
management companies in Australia.
ETS now have five sets of Barrow Lights,
simplifying their operation and reducing their
traffic control risk. Traffic control costs have
been slashed and their efficiency has doubled.
Previously two crews were required, now with
the Barrow Light® one crew is sufficient.
Each day the Barrow Lights® are loaded onto
utes or trailers, the lights are programmed
and wheeled into position with a total set up
time of no more than 5 minutes.

DEPLOYMENT OF THE
TRAFFIC LIGHT HEAD
1. Lift the head and tighten up.
2. Lift again until second stop, the
Barrow Light® is now extended
to the standard height.
IMPORTANT:
The traffic manager/supervisor
must keep the remote on hand
at all times whilst on site.

WARNING: the management of crossroads
with 3 and 4 traffic lights by temporary
traffic lights is not covered by current
regulations, and is the responsibility of the
operator. The manufacturer of the traffic
signal takes no responsibility or liability for
situation management.

Choose the type of traffic:
STANDARD OR UNBALANCED*

PROGRAM AUTOMATIC
Click OK
After clicking on the second traffic light it
will be automatically synchronized.
Example: The two traffic lights will now
be programmed, and will follow their
respective cycle while being synchronized.
The traffic lights are all identical.
You can start programming with any traffic light,
whether it is for a crossroad of 2, 3 or 4 branches.
*Most intense traffic on the A traffic light

After validating phases 3, 4 & 5, the
programming of the first traffic light
is complete.
NB:Data is stored on the remote for
20 minutes after programming.
Point the remote control
towards the infrared window,
located at the back of the traffic
light head. Keep a distance of
approximately 30cm.
REMINDER OF THE 3 MODES
OF OPERATIONS
AUTOMATIC
Three phases: red – yellow – yellow blinking, at a
programmed and synchronized rhythm.
YELLOW FLASHING
Yellow flashing mode can be forced on by the user
for emergency of temporary site closures, or will
automatically display in a case of malfunction. When
this function is active, all other optics will be off.
RED ONLY
The red only function can be used to stop traffic
in both directions to facilitate the exit of site or
emergency vehicles or machinery. When this function
is active, all other optics will be off.

by side, this will enable you to
synchronize lights efficiently.
