Your Division code should look like this CM (= Cadet Men) or M65W (Masters 65+ Women)
Masters 65 + recurve Burton / Murumbeena option Eligible archers who wish to shoot this round
need to indicate this by ticking the box.
Recurve Cadet / Masters Match Play Notes:
The correct World Archery ranking / matchplay event for recurve CM, CW, M50M, M50W, M65M, M65W is
the 60m 72 arrow round (M50 and M65 age divisions combined as per WA rules). WA only recognises one
class for 50 + as ‘Masters’. Cadet & Masters recurve archers entering the target event will shoot the 60m
72 arrow round as part of their target event and are able to claim Archery NZ and world records in this
division. Cadet and masters recurve archers have the option to specify a preference to shoot the 60m
match play event if it is offered or shoot the 60m ranking round and join the 70m match (ranked
underneath archers who shot the 70m match play) or abandon the 60m ranking round and shoot the 70m
ranking round / match play.
NB: The 60m match play event will only run if there are 4 or more archers per division who want to shoot
this event. If there are insufficient numbers for the event to proceed then these archers will join the 70m
match play event (and be ranked underneath all those archers who shot the 70m ranking round).
Cadet / Masters recurve archers may elect to shoot the 70m ranking round as an alternative to the 60m
rank round to gain a higher ranking in the 70m match play event. Such archers are effectively abandoning
their normal class and therefore will not be eligible for medals in the target event but will be eligible in the
match play event.
Dress Code:
Archery NZ Dress Code as agreed at the AGM 2015.
Athletes shall be neatly and cleanly dressed in sporting attire. Such attire may be White, current Club,
Regional Squad or National Uniform, or sponsorship merchandise. Advertising must adhere to the World
Archery advertising eligibility rules (WA 2.2.6. and 2.2.7). These rules do not apply to field shooting.
