Relieving Assistant Principal: Kahibah Public School
Expressions of interest are invited from teachers interested in a career opportunity relieving in the position of Assistant
Principal, Stage 3 from 24 July 2017 until 19 December 2017. Please see the attached information sheet and the EOI form.

School Context
Kahibah Public School (with an enrolment of 324 students), is a school which fosters positive relationships while developing
confident and creative lifelong learners. To facilitate this we have a culture within our school which is based on the principles of

Selection criteria

Experience in teaching Stage 3 with a demonstrated ability to develop and support staff to implement best practice in datadriven, differentiated teaching and learning programs for the NSW syllabuses for the Australian Curriculum.

Highly developed collaborative and consultative leadership with strong interpersonal, organisational and communication
skills, and a demonstrated excellence to lead, inspire and mentor staff in a culture of strong partnerships.

Knowledge of school planning and evidence-based evaluation using the School Excellence Framework and ability to
collaborate with and support staff in this process.

Demonstrated capability to lead the management and implementation of varied student wellbeing initiatives, supporting
individual students and contributing to whole school effectiveness.

include two referees, one of whom should be your current Principal or Line Manager. Candidates may be required to
participate in an interview as a component of the Expression of Interest process.
