• Exposition – The who, where, & when
• Rising Action – Steps the character(s) take to reach the climax.
• Climax – The height of the action which forces a change in the
protagonist(s) (Boss battle, character death, big reveal, etc.)
• Falling Action – The aftermath of the climax, fallout
• Resolution – How the story ends (or story segment if part of a
larger story arc, i.e.: Percy Jackson, Hunger Games, etc.)
