Hello everyone,
The Bulldogs academy has started training at the AOL pitch in Lakatamia.
Directions to the pitch can be found in the Nicosia Barbarians website.
Training days:
Available days for training are Friday and Saturday morning.
Times are 15:30 - 17:00 Friday, 10:30-12:00 Saturday.
Subscription fees:
Monthly subscription to the Academy will be 20 euros per player per month. Club
fees are to be paid on the first session of each month. Receipts will be issues.
Club membership form:
Membership fees to the club are set at 40 euros per player.
For the players involved in contact rugby the 40 euros will be paid directly for the
inclusion of the player to the Medical Insurance Plan that the Cyprus Rugby
Federation has for all the registered rugby players on island.
All club members under 18 need to have the membership form sighed by the
parent/guardian.
Insurance:
Attached you will find the medical insurance information and the form to be filled and
submitted to the club. It is noted that the club policy is that all players involved in
contact training (older than 12yrs) will need to be insured. Players under the age of
12, not involved with contact training participating in TAG rugby will not be required
to subscribe to the insurance plan although this is an option if they wish to do so.

The Nicosia Bulldogs Academy has the following scheduled events until the end of
summer of 2012:

Participation in 2-3 Cyprus Rugby Federation TAG tournaments (players
younger than 12 yrs)



Friendly games of TAG rugby with the Limassol Crusader (minis) and the
Pafos Tigers minis.
Opportunity for players aged 15-17 yrs to be selected to take part in the joint
Cyprus-Israel-Greece under 17s Rugby camp, to be held in Israel during the
Summer School holidays. The camp is under the hospices of the Israeli
Rugby Federation and the European Association of Rugby FIRA-AER.
1 week long Cyprus Rugby Federation Summer training camp to be held in
Cyprus (depending on numbers available).
