I am Manoj Kumar. S. P, Consultant Rehabilitation Psychologist and Head-in-Charge: Dept. of Clinical
Psychology ICCONS, Shoranur. For over 10 years I am actively involved in Rehabilitation of person with
disability and mental health related problems. I was completed M.Phil in Rehabilitation Psychology
(approved by RCI, 2 years clinical course) from National Institute for the Empowerment of Person with
Intellectual Disability (NIEMID), Secondarabad.

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE
Working as Chief Psychologist and Head-In-Charge of Dept. of
Clinical Psychology since 1st June 2009 at Institute for Communicative and Cognitive Neuroscience
(ICCONS), previously worked as Registrar in Clinical Psychology from 2004 to 2007. Job involves
clinical Assessment, Diagnosis, Management and evaluation of Children / adult with various types mental
health related disorders and Disabilities. Conducting classes for parents having children with disability,
conducting training program for children’s having learning disability, providing services for in-patient, outpatient and special school children’s,, and also teaching clinical psychology subject to speech language
pathology and audiology course and other post graduate and graduate students.

PROJECT PARTICIPATION
Actively participated NPRPD (National Programme for Rehabilitation of Person with Disability) project
funded by NRHM, it involves screening, identification, assessment, intervention and evaluation of children
and adult with various disabilities, conducted and participated parental training programme for differentially
abled children. Organized sensitization programme for public and local governing members and other
professionals. (1st may 2009 to 31st may 2010)
Actively participated projects on “school health care program” funded by UNDP.
Participated in clinical evaluation of children with learning Disability and in the mass-screening program of
Learning disability among children, training of parents and also imparted classes in the Public Awareness
Programmes. (2005, at ICCONS)
