What is the Sports Premium?
The PE and sport premium is designed to help primary schools
improve the quality of the PE and sport activities they offer their
pupils. The funding is provided by the Departments for
Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport.
Each school will receive £8,000 plus an extra £5 per pupil each
year . In 2015/2016 St Chads received £8900 for the year and had
£6220 carried over from the previous year. Our total amount was
£15120. The money must only be spent on sport and PE provision
in schools.
