Taps:
 A tap that leaks a drop of water per second wastes 25l
which is 9000l per year.
 Turn off the tap when you brush your teeth as this
saves 6l of water.
 Did you know: When you brush your teeth you use 12l of
water.
Oceans:
 Each ocean is made up of smaller parts called seas.
 75% of the earth is covered in water.
 Every year oil-spills destroy the ocean , by harming the
penguins and endangering the fish.
Drinking Water:
 If you look inside a glass of water , there are two
sections of the colours green and yellow .
 Fill a jug with water every morning so you don’t waste
water during the day.

Why we need rain? :
 Raindrops are always small, as they split into two drops
if they grow more than 4MM.
 Rainwater is vital for life – it nourishes all plants and
animals that live on land .

How you can save water:
 You can ask your parents to get a water butt at the side
of your house.
 Make sure none of your taps are leaking.
 Encourage your family and parents to turn of the tap
when brushing their teeth and tell them to only get a
quick shower.
