All air filters at the time of move-in are clean and located: 1. 2. Tenant agrees the smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are operable and in order to keep them operational batteries may need to be replaced on an as needed basis, if not wired into the electrical circuitry. New batteries are the responsibility of the tenant. Each unit should be tested monthly. If you have any questions or problems with any smoke or carbon monoxide detector after you have checked the battery, it is your responsibility to promptly notify the property manager to assure early detection of fire or smoke offered by these devices. It is the tenant’s responsibility to change MONTHLY the air filters. You are in violation of your lease if air filters are not changed out properly.
