9U ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM
We will be putting together an-all tournament team at the end of the tournament (prior to the
championship game) for all the teams. The intent here is not to take away from the team concept,
which at 9 years old, should be the primary focus, but instead to reward 2 players from each team for a
little extra effort in this weekend’s tournament.
The criteria we are looking for when you nominate your players will be: Teamwork, Leadership, and
most of all Exceeding Expectations. Therefore we would like you to evaluate intangibles not seen on the
scoresheet for this award just as much or more than the statistics.
At the end of the early games on Sunday, please nominate 2 players from your team for the AllTournament Team to the tournament director. The team will be announced shortly after the conclusion
of those games prior to the Championship Final on Field 2. Each player nominated will receive an
award, so please have your parents and rest of team come over and around Field 2 for the brief
ceremony.
