Our Outside Space
We have multi use outside space, where we
have an open door policy which enables the
children free access to the secure outside
space, whatever the weather.
We have a variety of surfaces for the children to
play on, astro grass, a tactile spongy area which
is covered by an all-weather canopy, an area for
digging and pathway.

Welcome
Our smaller room is used for children to relax in
the cosy corner and quite activities.
The Staff
Sprowston Pavillion Playgroup is a purpose built
preschool which is situated withinSprowston
Infant School.
Sprowston pavilion Playgroup employs 6
professionally trained permanent members of
staff.
In addition to our highly qualified staff, we have
a dedicated team of support workers and
volunteer helpers who bring with them a wealth
of experience and boundless enthusiasm
Sprowston Pavilion was established over 20
years ago and is going from strength to
strength.
Our aim is to provide a warm, safe and friendly
environment for children to learn through play.
Our Setting
We areextremely fortunate to have such lovely
premises which opened in January 2013. It
boasts a large main room which has many
different activity areas where the children are
able to move around freely to experience all the
resources/equipment.
We also use this room for snack for the younger
children who attend the morning sessions.
Our afternoon sessions is known as “playgroup
plus” and isintended for the older children.
Government funding
We are a part of the Government funding
scheme. This means that from the term after
your Childs 3rd birthday you are eligible for the
15 hours.
OFSTED
We are regularly inspected by OFSTED and a
copy of their latest report is available on
request or it can be viewed online.
